What to write down each season so decisions get easier every year.
You do not need a complicated system. A few habits are enough.
Note these each season
- The date each stage began on each block.
- Every spray: date, product, dose and weather.
- Fertilizer and other inputs: what, when and how much.
- Problems you saw and where.
- Harvest date and yield per block.
- What you spent and earned.
Why it helps
- You can see what worked and repeat it.
- You avoid spraying twice by mistake.
- Costs per acre show where money goes.
